July 2, 2010I want to extend my range while towing, I am wondering does someone make a larger fuel tank for gas powered trucks? I sse them diesel but not gas. the only other thing that comes to mid is a fuel cell with electric pump to fill the OE tank but not sure I want to give up space in the bed. I have an 03 QC and know towing a 7000lb camper I can go about 150 miles on a tank of gas, it would be nice to maybe double that.

August 6, 2010What size is your tank? My 05 QC has a 34 gallon tank. The standard tank is 26 gallons.
August 10, 2010Can you put the factory 34 gal tank in? I guess that wouldnt give you much more range. Surely someone makes a bigger tank than 34gal out there?

I would call these people they may make them and not have them on their site
August 11, 2010This is the type of system I was looking for. Thanks 05STRAM. I will still look to see if I can get a larger tank that fits under the bed but this is exactly what I was thinking for if i go with the in bed solution.
August 15, 2010the transfer flow is a 56 gallon direct replacement for the 03-10 ram gas truck
August 17, 2010There is a 56 gallon direct replacement avail. as said above. It`s a future mod for my Cummins even though I can go 400-450 miles on a 34 gallon tank
August 17, 2010I thought that 56 gallon tank was for the 2500 and 3500 series trucks, I don`t know if that will fit the 1500 series. I have an email into Transfer flow to see if that will fit, still waiting for an answer.
August 17, 2010From what I was reading they are only for Diesels
August 17, 2010I stand corrected, I just read about them being for Diesels only. I dont understand why though, there shouldnt be too much difference, if any, with where the fuel tanks are located and how theyre braced, etc. Apparently there is
